My Army (see below) playing Egg Toss
On Good Friday we all got together and had a service and then went out to a special restaurant and had an entire roasted lamb. It was a little awkward because they brought it out whole (skinned of course), but it was in a sitting position and the eye sockets were... staring at us. Teeth bared... the whole nine yards. Then they did a little ceremony, sang a song, took it away and cut it up! It was pretty delicious. Except the brain... the brain was gross. Shawn is convinced we're all going to get mad cow.
Yesterday Tim and Jen had their Easter party which we were allowed to bring friends to since no one is going to come to a party all the way out in Yong Ning... anyway. It was a blast. We played egg tosses and egg bowling, had an egg hunt, colored eggs, and more egg things. We had a little devotion and had them watch the end of a movie about Easter. I wasn't sure how many people from our study would come to the party, but of the 36 total attendees we had 18 from our Saturday class. We divided the group into two since the group was so big and Mr. Wei said, "Jes, your army is strong!" It was awesome. I got to play the egg toss game with Tony the dance instructor. He kept threatening to throw it really hard at my face. It was a good time. The party was really fun.

There was a part of the note for me, too... but it wasn't nearly as interesting!!

Happy Easter to you also.
Dave and I are going to figure out a way to mail you a sweet roll. Grandma will send you butter. She has 42 pounds of it.
Did you find an apartment in milwaukee yet? Mikey got a job in milwaukee as a case worker so we might be moving there in as little as a month. I already graduate grad school in four weeks. Ahh! (soooo much to do before then). There are lotsa good apartments available right now thanks to it being the end of the school year. We almost can't decide which ones to look at; they all get snatched up so fast. I remember i once went to look at a milwaukee apartment and told the guy I'd call him in an hour to let him know my decision after i talked to mike about it. An hour later I called him and he told me it had already been rented. Yeesh. Mike's job is pretty near to wlc but we might want to spend the summer at least living on the east side like in riverwest or a trendier district while looking for a house. It'd be fun to be a stone's throw from a lot of festivals for the summer. I can imagine it's probably tough looking for an apartment in milwaukee whose lease starts mid-summer (unless you already found one). If you kids are actually serious about wanting to find a sweet bigger place with us even though you already told other people the same thing, let us know REALLY SOON and we would seriously look for a bigger 3 bedroom place. On the one hand, you'd have to live with smelly us but on the other hand, you wouldn't have to search for an apartment from china. No worries either way.
See you soon!
I do not!....its only 19!
